Kevin Revolinski is a freelance writer whose articles and photography have appeared in a variety
of publications including The New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Sydney Morning Herald, Miami
Herald, and Caribbean Travel and Life. He is the author of The Yogurt Man Cometh, a
travel memoir about a year living in Turkey, The Wisconsin Beer Guide, a travel guide to the
state's many microbreweries, 60 Hikes within 60 Miles: Madison, Backroads
and Byways of Wisconsin and several other books. He has written for Rough
Guides guidebooks and is a Bangkok Expert for Nile Guide.com. He writes
hotel reviews for Star Service Online and has been featured on radio
and TV as The Mad Traveler. His short stories have appeared in
various literary journals, and his photography is frequently
exhibited around southern Wisconsin. He divides
his time between Bangkok and Madison and
