Yeah, sometimes this whole Westernization/European thing is pretty boring. You'll still see them from time to time, either geishas or someone on their way to a traditional wedding or the like. But yeah, not really common unfortunately.

Really interesting, they're so beautiful. Too bad it's not very common anymore. I would like to see a tourist walking around dressed in a Kimono, would be funny! ;)

Great information! Is this an activity that I can easily do one afternoon while in Montego Bay? I'm really pressed for time and need to head to Ochos Rios. Is there booking information anywhere online?

Thanks,
Brian

Thank you so much for bringing back some wonderful childhood memories! I grew up in Wisconsin but have traveled the world and country for the last 18 years. Wisconsin will always be home. I have yet to find anything comparable to a supper club, much less a good old fashioned Friday night fish fry! And imagine my surprise when I took my young children to the local chain restaurant and found out they couldn't sit at the bar while we waited for a table! Yes, those were the good old days-sitting at the bar, drinking Shirley Temples with all of my cousins, waiting for a table. Makes it feel like it's time to go back for a visit!

Yeah, a wooden speedboat! On a high-speed chase ducking under bridges and such with a beautiful foreign spy in the passenger seat. Probably a lot more expensive than a gondola ride though.

Spunky Girllogue Pam and I were just talking about you the other night. I'm heading to Jordan and crossing into Israel for a week and she said you might have some tips.

Venice looks beautiful. I'd love to take one of those little wooden speed boats for a ride through the canals.
